New year's Resolutions
First of all I wish you Happy New Year! I hope that you have had a great 2006 with lots of fond memories. As for me, I sure know I have. Don't remember all of them though... The biggest joy we had last year was Nadia, my sweet little daughter.
For 2007, I wish for us all, a year filled with happiness and laughter together with friends and family. And may you get one step closer to your goal.
Now, what coming next is (like everyone expects): The New Year's Resolutions. It is very common that people eagerly make New Year's Resolution to set their biggest goal ever! Time for some reflections and plan for better life. It seems to many people that it is a perfect time to reflect on the changes we want to or need to make (kick bad habits and start your life anew) and resolve to follow through on those changes. Is it true?
My last New Year's Resolution was "to keep on schedule". Meaning... more discipline. It was difficult and too stressful. I think now with 2 children, I can't expect myself to be "on schedule". So, I decided to be more relaxed and think about better plan for my New Year's Resolution:D Anyway, what is the point of resolutions if we can't keep them?
Since I gained weight after giving birth last October, my resolution for 2007 is to lose weight. I still have 4-5 kilos to go until I reach my "normal weight". But that's not enough. I want to lose more than 5 kilos. Let's say... 8. Can you call this too ambitious? I personally don't like restricting myself from not eating. I don't think I will try to be on a diet. So, how can I reach my goal? I guess, I would prefer to do it by eating more vegetables and doing more sports. Yes, more sports!! That's it, my Resolution for 2007 is doing more sports. How about yours?
