Heisser Sommer

Aaaah... Summer... my least favorite season. I simply cannot bear the heat and high humidity! It was 36 degree outside. The sun comes already at 5 am and stays until 9 pm here. I probably shouldn't complain that much. After all, it brings tons of fruits too. And those are my favorites! My strawberries on my balcony are ripening. Some of my flowers are blooming (they are supposed to come in spring, aren't they?). Cherries, plums and vegetables are cheaper at the market.

I put Rian's bath tub on our balcony and let him play with the water outside. He likes observing the water streaming from the tap and always tries to grab it. He is not interested in his toys anymore. This happens not only when he is bathing. He likes "real" stuffs much more now. He prefers my watering pot, kitchen tools, telephone, pens....
